ANMF Welcomes Budget Boost for Health & Aged Care

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) has applauded the latest Budget, which delivers major investments in health, aged care, and cost-of-living relief. Key measures include $8.5 billion to strengthen Medicare, $2.6 billion for aged care nurse wage increases, and a landmark $573 million women’s health package.

The Budget also reduces medicine costs, increases tax cuts, expands childcare access, and provides housing support for nurses and midwives.
