There are three stages to the application process

1. Submit your application

When you click Apply Now, you will begin your application. You’ll be asked to provide information and documents that tell us about your skills, experience, and preferences.

2. Complete your interview

If you meet the qualification and experience criteria of the role you’re interested in, we will be in touch for an interview. You can expect to be asked a mix of technical questions and behavioural questions so we can get to know you.

3. Start working!

We’ll meet you face-to-face so you can collect your new uniform and identification badge. As a Crewe Sharp member, you’ll access our Members App and have all the support you need from our team to get started and work with confidence.

Before you begin . . .

Make sure you have gathered all the documents you need to submit.

We will ask for:

  • A Current Federal Employment Police Check
  • A Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • The right to work within Australia

  • Two professional references

If it’s been a while since you updated your First Aid certifications, or you don’t have a current Police Check, don’t worry! Just note this in your application, and our team will help you update these requirements.

Specific Requirements

The type of formal qualifications and experience you’ll need depends on the kind of work you are applying for.

nursing care placements

To work as a Registered Nurse, or as an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll need:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • A minimum of 12 months experience
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current Flu Vaccination Certificate and be fully Covid vaccinated
non nursing support stafff

To work as a Personal Care Assistant or Assistant in Nursing, you’ll need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care (HACC), or AIN Certificate
  • Or be working toward your nursing degree and have already completed your first year
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in aged care or home and community care
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check

To work as a Food Service Assistant or Chef in an Aged Care setting, you’ll need:

  •  Basic Food Handling/Safety Certificate or equivalent (FSA)
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (Chef)
  • A minimum of 6 months experience
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
