A recent evaluation of the National Aged Care Advocacy Program (NACAP) has found that older Australians are feeling more supported in navigating aged care services.

The report, released by the Department of Health and Aged Care, revealed that 90% of surveyed individuals experienced improved aged care services, while 74% felt more confident in discussing their needs with providers after receiving advocacy support.

Led by the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN), NACAP continues to empower older Australians by providing critical advocacy and information services. Learn more about the findings and the program’s impact here.
